Subject	Timing Belt Tensioner

Message	So during my timing belt install, my buddy decided to compress my tensioner by tightening the screw and the piece where the tightening screw was broke off...I'm sure somebody has had to have made this idiotic mistake...Question is can I just use the base of my old tensioner? I searched around and couldn't find a straight answer on this one..
